All Powder Coat & Screen opened in 1974, long before our formal connection with All Metals Fabricating. When the business first began, we were called Garner Paint. We remained family-owned for several decades.
During that time, All Metals Fabricating was one of our valued customers, using our shop for a range of finishing services. As that relationship grew, it became clear that a closer partnership would benefit customers on both sides. In 2002, All Metals Fabricating acquired our shop so it could offer more comprehensive support as a single-source manufacturing partner.
Even after the acquisition, All Powder Coat & Screen continued operating out of its own facility for several years. Then, in 2015, All Metals Fabricating made room to bring both operations under the same roof.
The move created major efficiencies that still benefit customers today. Eliminating transportation between facilities reduced shipping and packaging time while simplifying coordination between teams. Fabrication and finishing now work more closely than ever.
Although APCS is closely integrated with All Metals Fabricating, we still take on finishing-only projects as well. Our decades of finishing experience allow us to support customers who need expert finishing services without fabrication work.

Although we take projects for standalone metal finishing, there are major benefits to using All Metals for fabricating or machining and All Powder Coat & Screen for finishing.
If different steps are handled by different vendors, each step is quoted separately with limited room for adjustment. But because all of our services are connected, we have flexibility in more areas to adjust your quote and make it work for your budget.
When finishing is handled by a separate vendor, quality issues can be harder to prevent and take longer to correct. But at All Metals Fabricating, our constant collaboration makes that process simple. For example, if a part arrives for powder coating with a scratch or surface issue, the right people are already nearby to correct it and identify how to prevent the same problem on future parts.
